Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Last updated: 30 March 2026
Brilliant Noise is committed to working ethically and treating people fairly. Modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and any form of coerced or hidden work has no place in our business or in the organisations we work with. This statement sets out the steps we take to keep it that way.
Our Business
Brilliant Noise is a UK-based consultancy specialising in AI-powered transformation. We help organisations across the UK and Europe build the strategy, skills and culture to use AI and digital technology well.
Our work is knowledge-based and delivered by skilled professionals. It does not rely on manual, low-wage or high-risk labour. Our supply chain is made up largely of professional services providers, software vendors, cloud platforms and independent contractors.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
- Preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and our supply chain.
- Acting ethically and with integrity in every business relationship.
- Improving the systems and controls that help us identify and reduce modern slavery risk.
- Complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, applicable UK law, and internationally recognised human rights standards.
We expect everyone who works with or for us — employees, contractors, partners and suppliers — to share this commitment.
Our Supply Chain and Due Diligence
We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to choosing and reviewing suppliers. We assess suppliers for modern slavery risk where it is relevant, favour those with clear ethical and labour standards, include anti-slavery clauses in contracts where appropriate, and review or end any relationship that falls short of our standards.
Given the nature of our work, our supply chain is low risk. Even so, we expect every supplier to uphold ethical labour practices and to hold their own subcontractors to the same standard.
Assessing Risk
Our operations do not involve manufacturing, logistics or low-wage labour, the environments most often linked to modern slavery. We stay alert to the areas where risk could still arise:
- Technology or research suppliers that use overseas subcontractors.
- Temporary labour providers that are not properly vetted.
- Fast scaling on project delivery, which can bring new contractors on board quickly.
We monitor these areas on an ongoing basis and keep appropriate controls in place, including how we recruit and screen our own people.
Training and Awareness
We make sure our people and contractors understand the signs of modern slavery, how to raise a concern, and what we expect of them when working with suppliers and contractors.
Raising Concerns
Anyone can raise a concern about modern slavery connected to Brilliant Noise, whether you work with us, supply us, or have come across our work. We treat every concern confidentially, investigate promptly, and act where necessary.
You can raise a concern with us confidentially at dpo@brilliantnoise.com.
Review
We review this statement once a year to keep it effective and aligned with current legislation and best practice.
